Rachel Handler is a writer and editor based in Brooklyn.

Currently, she’s a features writer at New York Magazine/Vulture, where she’s written long-form journalism on culture, film, TV, music, politics, and bucatini for the last 8 years. Previously, she was on staff at Vanity Fair, MTV News, The Dissolve, and the Chicago Sun-Times. Her writing is also featured in Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, Grantland, GQ, and the Academy Museum’s book, Pedro Almodóvar: Installation/Instalación, for which she was selected to do a career-spanning interview with Almodóvar. She was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2020.

As a screenwriter, she’s represented by Lucas Kosoglad and Tara Beppel at Odenkirk Provissiero.
